Mitrovica is one of several divided towns
in the former Yugoslavia. After the war, the
city's bridge became a "Berlin wall" that
divides Albanians (south) and Serbs (North).
Here, youngster of Mitrovica in
discussion about reintegration of the town.
This guy is passing trough one of many
NATO check-points in Mitrovica. He is
now in co-called "Confidence Zone"
between North and South. Two more
"check points" if he wants to get to the
northern side, behind the river Ibar .
Activists from youth organizations, working
for Human Rights and Peace in Mitrovica.
The UN mission is helping people of Kosovo
in peace building process. Mitrovica issue is
still on of the biggest challenges, but some
progress has been made.

Picnic in "Shala e Bajgores" near Mitrovica.

Beautiful landscape of Shala.

Big contrasts - typically for Kosovo.
